I took my 2-week-old son to him for circumcision and he explained everything before doing it and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Akil performed a circumcision on my 3-week-old baby. He gave us full information and assurance of the procedure. He did a very good job. Dr. Akil performed a circumcision on my newborn son. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure until I was comfortable with it. Afterwards he made sure I understood the aftercare before I left and he checked in on us at home 2 hours later to be sure everything was okay.
